I've used it for grilling a few times. It doesn't seem to get as hot as Weber or B&B briquettes. It does seem to light pretty fast. The briquettes are on the small side so you can't reuse them all that well. On the plus side it doesn't put off all the white smoke that kbb does. I guess I like it ok and the price is good. I haven't used kbb in while to make a good comparison on heat.
