RIP: Tina Turner

RIP Tina Turner, dead at 82. What a powerful singer, what a life story! Had a chance to see her in concert back in October 2008, it was quite a performance...lousy photo, but she's standing at the end of a platform swinging back and forth over the audience.



This video is from the same tour in 2009, when she's 68 years old...gettin' it done like no one else can do!

The one chance that I had to see her was back in the late 70's, maybe even early 80's. I know I was in college at the time. What a show ! ! ! Sadly, no camera phones back then.

She was something else ! !

I kind of only know the 80s hits and Proud Mary, but they are all stone cold classics. Who can forget Beyond Thunderdome! Also back when I was a kid I had the Miami Vice soundtrack on tape. You Better Be Good to Me was on it. Great song!
