This was totally on the fly.
Went to store to get cheap thin sliced bacon for moinks and saw some CSR's marked down 50%.
Grabbed some and knew I had some kraut in the cupboard.

If I cant get the Franks or another sweet Alsatian kraut I'll add 1/4 cup of apple sauce to regular or Polish kraut.
Always add a sliced sweet onion and bacon and occasionally coleslaw mix for texture.
