Ribs and more ribs...

Smoked some baby backs ribs and a spare rib on the Ranch kettle. I enjoy smokin' on the Rancher as much as my WSM. After several attempts, i finally got down how to properly use the Ranch Kettle as a smoker. no mods, just vent adjustements, charcoal layout and a water pan.

Used a basic barbecue rub; salt, pepper, paprika, brown sugar, and chile powder. The sauce is a modified store bought sauce. And used apple wood.

here some pictures.

That's a big pile of ribs--need any help eating it? I'll say you have that kettle smoking down! So that's one of those massive Ranch kettles? Beautiful implement. Can't seem to convince my wife that we need one.
