Rib Racks

I just got purchased this Steven Raichlen Ultimate Rib Rack from Amazon.com. It was back ordered for two months, and now they don't list it. I did find the following link on BB&B:

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=13779570

Have not used it yet but it look very well built. Fills the entire WSM grill. I was worried that it would not fit under the lid. I really like the seperate handles for lifting. Nothing flimsey about this grill rack.

Will let you know how it works......

I got them on Amazon for $19.99, no tax, free shipping. That made it OK. I had been using the Weber ones for years and cursing thier flimsey & narrow racks.

BB&B has 20% off coupon just about every week. That brings them back to the reasonable range in my opinion.

I got a Weber Rib Rack, used it twice and threw it out. With all of the good stuff Weber makes, they need to re-do the rib rack.

I just use the rack from my roasting pan. Works great. As AB says... it's a multi-tasker.

Who noticed something bad in this pic?

The answer is obvious - too much empty space in the cooker! You could've fit a bunch more in there!

Thanks Scott.

That is a brilliant idea, Alton would be proud of you. I bought a rib rack that only holds three lousy racks. It appears that you can fit up to seven racks on your roast pan rack. I'll will use mine next time.

I give up on your where's Waldo question.

Jim

The chimney was on a cement step only to cool down. Didn't run outta water..I use sand.

Well, the wrong thing is that I forgot to check the lid for flakes before the cook, and you can see a couple flakes on the bottom of the pic. AND I guess I coulda fit more too. LOL

Wow, I know the original post was years ago, but that's a beautiful idea. My roasting rack looks just like the one in the pic... Too bad I bought a rib rack just a few weeks ago.

Well the bright side is that using the rib-rack and roaster-rack I can fill up both grates with maybe a dozen racks of ribs now.
