i tried using a rib rack for the first time on my performer using the firebrick method, i have had one for a while but never used it so i said what the heck

it was a PITA to clean..

Why cant I just stack like this /\ if i was to trying minimize the space one rack takes up on the grill --- will the structure of the ribs be compromised??

as long as you use a skewer or 2 to keep them together it will work fine. i prefer to roll them myself.

Hi Phil,

These aren't touching, but they could have been if I had wanted them too. I used a couple broken-off skewers. I did not want them to touch--allowing for more even smoke circulation and better convective heat distribution.
