Rib cook from last weekend

This past weekend I smoked some S.L. style ribs on the WSM. I haven't smoked anything in a while and was reminded how great and easy the WSM is to use. I was also reminded how good fresh ribs right off the smoker taste! Nothing special about the cook, just normal rub and cooking times. With cool weather coming, I plan to smoke / grill a little more often. Here are some pictures of the rib cook, enjoy.

Really great looking ribs and smoke ring!

I tried doing that same coiled rib method with a bamboo skewer through it last night, but couldn't get it to stand up stably enough.

The one I had laying flat did the same thing to me, it kept falling so I just left it flat. Then other one stood mostly upright for me. I have coiled the last few times I smoked ribs and like it when they cooperate.
