Restore of G 5000

Only these two parts have too much damage to recover. The rest only needs time :)

The drip pan holder can be easily replaced with new. Several options including OEM Weber (along with the holder you will have to get their cheap aluminum drip pan that they have switched to). A couple non-OEM options on Amazon as well.

The holder pieces for that Weber smoker box will not be available. You are probably stuck trying to fabricate a replacement of some sort or not using the smoker box.

A friend like that can be a big help in restoring old grills! That would be great since the actual box looks so nice. Good luck!

Mały krok do przodu ... Ten spalacz na początku wygląda gorzej, więc pozostałe dwa wymagają mniej pracy. Na pewno lepiej i najłatwiej kupić nowy, ale w mojej koncepcji będzie to niesamowity grill pokazowy

I would imagine some of the internal parts had been changed out at some point in the past unless it has been used very little and stored inside. But, yah, any grill working well after 30 years is awesome. The good thing about these grills is a half hour of cleaning and some basic parts can often resurrect what many think is a scrap grill.

Slowly ... Part by part :)
