You're gonna like the comal. My family loves it. I must admit, the cooks result in a flavor explosion. I found it's better to turn the grate upside down and rest the comal on the upside grate rather the comal simply sitting on the lands for the grate. When you clean the comal, let it get hot and splash on water and use a plastic spatula to remove the glaze. My wife puts vinagar in the water, it may or not help, it stinks though, lol
