Ace came through with their local store delivery. Ordered Friday and ready for pick up on Tuesday. Just finished putting her together and making myself a hot dog for lunch. Steaks tonight!

Enjoy this picture. The inside will never be this clean again.

That's a beauty alright, I like where they put the thermometer, mine is on the face of the front. Your place looks great

Thanks, Chuck. We love it here.

Too many options for cooking tonight...my Comal arrived today, too! I think it is going to lose to the Q. It will see action before the weekend, though.

You're gonna like the comal. My family loves it. I must admit, the cooks result in a flavor explosion. I found it's better to turn the grate upside down and rest the comal on the upside grate rather the comal simply sitting on the lands for the grate. When you clean the comal, let it get hot and splash on water and use a plastic spatula to remove the glaze. My wife puts vinagar in the water, it may or not help, it stinks though, lol

The red color looks much better than the silver , pic of my 6y/o red 220 has spent much of life uncovered in the sun ( worthless son)

Really nice to see how well the paint is holding up after 6 years. Thanks, John...that takes a nagging little worry out of my mind. Was yours an Ace Hardware special, too?

She would have less ammunition if I would just use my phone and take a pic...but nooooooo......I have to get out my camera, work on the lighting, rearrange things 10 times, take a dozen shots, check them out, take another dozen. You get her point?

Spanking? She might like it! :D

Half griddle arrived yesterday afternoon. I can't think of anything better to season a new griddle with than bacon. First breakfast on the Q.

It looks like those eggs were "fresh" with the hens in the background.

They were! Haven't purchased eggs for a couple years. Free fertilizer for the garden, they eat every bug in sight and 2 to 3 eggs a day from my 3 girls. They're the first pets I've ever had that earned their way.
