Reddit post on a Genesis 2000 Redhead brand new.

These boxes and lids are available for free right near me in Washington but I just don't think I need them for anything.

Those red heads though! They demand to be saved. I am sure a scrapper is going to just chuck them, then we can personally blame you when those red heads become extinct in the wild!

Here is the listing on the Genesis 2000 unused grill.

These were what...$450 new back in the day? Current Genesis at Costco is what, $750 or so? I would go to that amount for this for sure. But thankfully I am a very responsible adult.

That's what they were in 1985 when they first came out. This one was probably about 500-600. The new garbage doesn't even compare to these.

Sorry I should probably keep my loudly voiced opinions to myself

Oh yeah, I totally agree. If I was in the market for a new gas grill I would pay probably close to $800 to get this....can't say for sure. But would definitely want this over anything being released in today's market.

If i thought I might use them I'd grab them but I have more than I'll ever need when it comes to lids and boxes. As I acquire more grills with parts that I actually need I'll be getting more lids and boxes already so there is no point in grabbing just average lids and boxes.

Nevada city CA is about 90 mins from me.

I don't think I'll be dropping a grand on this it.
