I asked my Mexican brother in law for advice on Carne Asada tacos. He also told me of an easy way to make salsa. The tacos will be on another thread.
Start out with
4 Tomatoes
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
3 Chili De Arbol
Core the tomatoes then grill them with the onion, and the chilis till cooked through and nice black marks on them. The tomato skin started coming off so I used my tongs and removed it as it was coming off. He didn't tell me to do that but I was afraid of having tough pieces of skin in the salsa. Then put everything in the blender, add 2 cloves of Garlic and a Tablespoon of Salt. If the salsa is to thick, add a little bit of water to thin it down. I didn't have to add water to mine, it was perfect.
