Emilie prepped some pork steaks while i was working.


Thyme,garlic,hungarian pepper & Red wine(marinated the steaks for 6h)


Out of the marinade:


Indirect,350f,time 1 hour. Cant belive how the wine make em "blackened"(30 min in)


Added some BS-prout´s


Aint pretty! Hope they taste good.


Served with taters´n´Red wine sauce


It was decent...Nothing i would do again!
Oh and the spruts was terrible! Frozen stuff. And not cooked the way i like it.(im not blaming Emilie..I cooked em)

I'd consider doing that, butt then, I know Red Table Wine is my favourite wine glass occupant so...
I'll leave it in the glass and away from my marinade bag.

How did you make (and like) the red wine sauce with the taters?
 
You are right Jim...It should be in a glass.

The sauce was the star of the show...Its not the typical red wine ju...Emilie added cream to make it thick. How it was done: ?:confused: ill ask her when she wakes up.
 
Great looking cook Daniel! I imagine that the sugar in the red wine had something to do with the blackening. Frozen sprouts aren't my favorite either. Either fresh or none at all is my motto. :D
 
The precooked marinated chops look like beef steak. Mother Nature created brussel sprouts so mothers could torture their children.
 
Everything looks terrific Jim Danny, sorry it didn't taste better.:(
Just blame it all on sweet Emilie, and move on, ;)
