Re-Freeze Tri Tip?


 
Chris, I would thaw to the point where you can seperate them THEN individual vacu-seal and re-freeze, sure, Why not?!
I see no harm there.
 
I ended up attempting this, but to separate the pieces I had to thaw the whole thing out. I then refroze all of them individually in marinade.
I havent tried cooking any of them. I'm a little scared (of the taste/texture).
 
Shouldn't be an issue. Allow to come to room temp. Cook very gently. Sear to finish if desired.
