Rare lid?

Just missed this...some one is picking up tomorrow. Haven’t seen the red with the stripes. Only seen the grey with red stripes.

Yah, not sure that is even the classic red. Looks more pink to my color blind eyes.

I wonder if that grill might not have been a 5000 and the glass doors just got taken out at some point.

I would suggest it's a 5000 in Mauve with glass doors and swing-up tables removed.

In the 1993 brochure, you can see the difference in intensity of color between red and mauve.

Thanks Chris. I always thought the lighter color was "Mauve" but it is really the more reddish color like on the grill above.
I have a grill with the gray colored lid....I was calling that Mauve.
