Quick Firewire Dinner

I haven't had a chance to cook for awhile due to some extended work hours in preparation for a VIP visit this week. So since that is finally over with I can get back to one of my favorite hobbies!

Picked up 2 packages of firewire from Amazon and decided to do a quick meal after work tonight. Cut up some country style pork chops, marinated them in oil and herb dressing and then coated them with BBQ 3000. Squash was coated with olive oil and dusted with Northwoods Fire and Arizona Dreaming. Onion was coated with Arizona Dreaming. On to the grill with a chunk of apple wood.

Just about ready to come off the grill. Brushed the pork with some home made BBQ sauce and let cook for about 5 more minutes.

Got to admit Mr. Lampe was dead on when he recommended the firewire. Sure beats the heck out of wooden skewers and you definitely can get a lot of food on them. Everything came out delicious!

Thanks for looking!

Superb pics! And the food looks outstanding! Guess i will lookinto these HOT wires.
