Quick ET-732 question Problem solved! carry on

I'm using it for the first time today on some butts.

Does the meat temp show up after it reaches a certain point?
My old one showed the meat from 32 degrees on up, this one has dashes.
I do have the desired temp set, but would like to also know what temp the meat is at.

I don't have the new one, but did it sync up before you positioned the probes? You should of been seeing ambient outside temps on both probes right?

You mentioning this made me check the jack on the bbq probe side of the sender unit,
it had popped out a bit, it's working fine now!

One of the "warnings" they offer is to ensure that both plugs are inserted firmly in the sending unit. If you get screwy readings, unplug and replug it in.
