if i am cooking both baby backs and a pork butt at the same time, what is the best way to approach this?

obviously the pork butt takes much longer, so do i put that on first with minion method and a few wood chunks and then 5 hours or so in to the cook do i add the baby backs and add more wood chunks for smoke on the ribs?

a buddy of mine said to cook them at the same time and then wrap the ribs when they are done and keep them warm in the oven until the butt is done. not sure what to think about that method... thoughts?

I did this once, did the butts first since it was going to be a 13 - 14 hr smoke. With 6 or 7 hours left I put the butts on lower shelve and started the ribs.
I'm not sure if there is a wrong way, I'd say it's more about time managment....... and sleep......
