I finally cooked on it for the first time tonight. I haven't used a kettle since I got the WSK this spring.

I had a bunch of old briquettes and this needed a good clean burn off, and my CI grate needed a good cleaning too so I just loaded up a big pile.

Cooked a bit of flank steak, since it is taco Tuesday.

That was a great find for $10! I got the same Performer used too. I really like the Performer better than my Kettle Premium which I'm selling, because of it's stable base, added height, folding table, and the dome cradle. Agreed it's nice to have options for cooking, especially when great deals can be found.
