I assume that is after treating it with paint thinner. My first thought was that you didn't use High Temp paint and it blistered. LOL

Yup, paint stripper! Now sanding it down. I bet if I could get this as a finished look it would actually be pretty neat with the 2 tone

I like the silver and red. It has a retro look

This is with one coat of black high heat ultra and one light coat of red caliper paint. The effect is pretty cool, almost like it's marbled. Trying to decide if I leave it or keep going with the red

If you really wanted red, keep going. But what you have now is something quite unique. If you like it that way, keep it. I think it is cool.

I was actually shopping for some tonight. The auto store didn't have any, I'll be on the hunt tomorrow. I may try sanding the Weber logo to bare aluminum as an accent

Be careful, that bare aluminum will turn much lighter (almost white). But, that may not look too bad.
