Pulled Pork


 
I'd have to agree about showering and changing before sitting down to eat. It may only be psychological but it seems to make it taste better to me. I love the dark color of your bark. Cutting into two pieces equals much more bark. Good idea.

I usually get stuffed while doing the pulling, but think it tastes smokier the next day.
 
I have a Boston Butt that weights app. 5 pounds. I'm figuring on an 8-10 hour cook on my WSM. I really don't want to go 12-14 hours on anything. For a 5pm sit-down, that tells me it's a 6am start (getting things ready, not just starting the cook). Does that sound right?
