Pulled Chicken


 
So I tried smoking some chicken today. Bought a 4lb package of bone in skin on chicken breasts. Also found out I can throw an extra grill grate on the Smokey Joe with the smoker mod I did. Used sand in the tray instead of water this time.

All 5 breasts on the smoker.

All pulled and ready to eat. Came out really great.

Thanks for sharing looks AWSOME, I was thinking of making some pulled chicken. Is there anything I need to know besides smoke and pull?
 
Nice looking pulled chicken BZ, BZ can u cook a beer can chicken in the sj modified one or will not fit?
 
Thanks for the nice comments. It came out real good and leftovers are great.

@JHunter - I just put the chicken in the smoker at about 225 and pulled them off when they hit 160-180. Put them in the pan and took the bear claws to them. Came out juicy but next time I am going to try brining them.

@Noe - I think I can put a beer can holder if I don't use the grates and place the chicken where the water pan goes.
