My first annual check and maintenance on The front of my Summit cookbox. Looks ok after after 1 year. I can see some surface rust inside underneath. That’s for another day to take apart and clean.

Hard to tell because the photo resolution is so small but looks to me like you've got serious rust beginning under the porcelain

Looks good to me. I don't see any corrosion or rust.

I was seeing the reflections of the wires and spark igniters. looks good

there is definitely rust getting a good start on the bottom of the cookbox. See the photos below.

At some point this summer I will take the grill apart and get under there. But how to remove the rust? Scrape off and paint with high heat rust oleum?
