Prime TriTip

Great looking meal! My family and I did a very unscientific test between the Costco prime and choice tri-tips. Our results were the same; no difference in taste prime vs choice. The only conclusion was that the choice was 'slightly' less tender. A negligible difference, especially given that Costco blade tenderizes those things.

Looks tasty! I found the same with the quality. I actually don't buy meat any more from Costco. I started buying from our grocery supply. Same quality meat way less expensive. I do have to plan though as its all bulk. That said the tri tip I get has 4-6 in each pack. So its easy for me too delegate freezer space. When I run out I buy another pack and eat one and vac pack the rest into the freezer. Paid $ 3.69/pound last time. That was peeled Angus. The unpeeled choice was $3.49/pound.
