Just curious if anyone else has ever purchased USDA prime pork chops. I had the chance to get some over the Thanksgiving holiday and they were literally the best chops I have ever made/eaten. There is a gourmet market in the Sarasota, FL area where I bought 4 and some of their montreal style seasoning. Even though I didn't want to use that on the chops, it ended up being great. I was cooking on a terrible gas grill with only two burners that was out near the ocean, so I was dealing with uncertain heat, wind, etc. Just used a lot of caution and indirect heat while cooking and they were ridiculously good.
So my question is, does anyone know where to get good prime pork chops in the midwest? I live in Indianapolis, but travel to all of the major cities around here (Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, etc). I can get great beef here, but I've never seen prime pork. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
