For the last 10 yrs I’ve Hosted a BBQ for all the Alumni at my Alma Mater. This year will be the 11th & Last that I Host. At 70 yrs of age I’m getting too old for all the Prep Work & staying up All Night Cooking. Prepping 8 Prime Briskets & 30 Racks of Ribs is Time Consuming & Tiresome but it’s a Labor of Love.
Today I Bought
8-Prime Briskets
30- Racks of Ribs
6-Pork Butts
75- Jalapeño & Cheese Sausages
75- Regular Sausages
I’ll be making BBQ Beans, Mexican Street Corn, Potato Salad, & Cole Slaw
Picked up 24 Cans of Sterno
Plates, Cups, Silverware, Paper Towels
Utensils for Serving
I’ll buy Ice & Tea Day of the Event
10 Cases of Bottled Water
I have no help & it’s a struggle to get everything done for a 2:00 Eating Time
It always takes me 2-3 Days to Recover
I’ll Post Pics of the Event when we have it
