From my favourite meat processing plant, I purchased two quality cuts of beef.

seasoned them then fired up the 26"OTG. Baby Yukons and cobbed corn got a headstart.

What happened next, is beyond my imagination. Perhaps too much yappin' or the like,...
butt no photos were taken as the steaks were grillin' away.
The only thing I know for sure is: the meat was grilled to perfection!

Mushrooms were nearly completed... as were the taters and corn

Think i need to concentrate a bit more on my grillin' and photo ops than my gossip
The steaks were very nice, and the corn was yummy as were the taters and 'sharooms.

Thank you for visiting, so long!

Hey Jim,

nice lookin steaks... i likes mine picksburgh rare.... btw... if there are no pics of the steaks on the grill then it didn't happen... at least thats what I have been told... just sayin... you might have got those steaks from SIZZLER and brought them home...

just bustin chops... cant wait to go to the south park wing and rib fest tomorrow... da burgh has 2 competing rib fests going on the same weekend.. the only 2 of the year... one is free admission downtown at Heinz Field... the other is literally a 15 minute walk from my house (25 minutes after having a few too many)

I hang my head in shame, I won't BBQ till tomorrow. Even then it won't be the baker and chorizo, just some csr's and hot Italian sausges for a friend. Of course, I'll have to sample the finished product for quality control.

Beautiful PH's Jim!
we will take your word for it that you were the actual cooker:p
Hey, we got our old smileys back:D

Wow Jim, those steaks look killer!

I really need to find one of those cast iron pans you've got the shrooms in...I've never seen anything like that up here. Is it a fajita pan? Where did you get it??

Awesome, those pics alone can be a reason to take the next flight and bring you a visit :)

One question however: what's the difference between porterhouse and t-bone?

Thanks Stuart :) Look for Lodge oval serving dish at camping stores, hardware stores or buy on-line.

thank you Arwin :) Porterhouse steaks are cut from the rear end of the short loin and include more tenderloin, while T-bone steaks are cut from farther forward and contain less.
I stole that line from this page.
