Pork Tenderloin

Most people grill pork tenderloins. When you sear them and go indirect they don't take long. About 15 min to a half hour depending on your indirect temp.

I think if you smoke them at 250º it would take about 45 min to maybe even an hour to get them up to temp.

Jerry, thanks I decided to try this on the fly. It looks like about an hour and a half, I'm at an hour and 10 min and the internal is 141. I guess I should have done this before volunteering to make it for dinner.

I smoke/roast ~450, indirect the whole time usually. Generally theyb take 45 min, sometimes a bit longer if cold when going in. I remove at ~141.

Sorry, with people from out of town I lost track. It turned out well, the tenderloins all turned out moist and nicely smoke flavored.

Kevin, I'll have to try that next time. I was afraid I would dry them out.

I marinated them for 4 hours in a mixture of orange juice, tiger sauce, A-1, ketchup and some other sauce(it's in the cooking tips section in Chris' pork loin recipe). I also wrapped them in bacon. The marinade didn't have time to penetrate the meat but I was concerned that the acid would start to cook the meat.
