We had guests over for dinner tonight (the Kongslies, Mark and Kimmie with Mark's son Ryan) and my wife's 3 boys. The grocery store had pork sirloin roasts on sale, buy one get one free. (Grabbed a couple of 2 pounders, came out to just over $1.79 a pound.)
I seasoned both up with Mrs.Dash Chicken Grilling Blend. To the one on the right I added some Penzeys Northwoods Seasoning and a generous sprinkling of Volcano Dust 3.
Onto the Performer they went. Did I mention they where wrapped in bacon?
I also added some apple wood chips to smoke.
Darn things took almost twice as long as usual because of the wind. This is even with my wind blocks set up.
It was worth it though. Here it is all plated up with some left over 'wing' sauce from last night, french cut green beans, and my wife's pasta salad.
In the title I mentioned there was also dessert. I think this is the first time I have ever posted dessert here.
Kimmie made on awesome eclair cake that she brought along. It was beyond delicious!
