pork beans disaster from the start

I was not going to post this little adventure I had today but I think I should share my failures as well...so here we go.

I wanted to do this outside on my weber but as I was prepping my stuff the winds picked and it was gusting about 45 mph...So I do it inside and put in my home made beans from last week and as it starts to warm up i get this foul smell and its my beans so I toss them and get my genreic beans that I keep around. I used left over rib parts from another cook, add hot dogs, ham, jalapenos, added 1/2 cup of sticky fingers bbq sauce. Believe it or not they were good. But then I forgot to take a picture of my plate. Not a good day...And to top it off bad pictures, more so than normal :(

Rotten home made beans...

Good job Tony! I have had my share of failures also, but if you learned something from them it is not really a failure!

Hey Tony, that's not called a disaster, it's called a save, and a nice one at that!
I like the ingredient mix!

I feel the same from time to time with my cooks also Tony. I think Bob and Mike put it best. It's just cooking and we all learn from both good and bad. This one wasn't bad at all, trust me, you should be here on some of the stuff I cook!:D

Like Wierd Al Yankovich said, "just eat it, eat it. Don't you make me repeat it"!
