Poor Mans Performer

i wanted (and still wouldn't mind) a Performer, but am cheap. I decided to create my own Performer out of my OTG. I had the side table and then picked up a Bayou Classic thermometer that goes to 750 degrees and made a hanging loop.
viola instant performer!

I have seen those.

The wife would BBQ me on a slow spit if I got a performer! She is still upset that I have two Smokey Joe's and gave an 18" OTS to my son. She is constantly asking why do I need so many grills, but is resigned to them.

I wouldn't mind a Weber Summit or whatever the top of the line propane grill is, but that is want not need and there is something about keeping a 15 year old gasser in great shape, as anyone can just buy a grilll, it is love to keep one going forever!
