Please help me identify this Weber

The old JennAire grills made by Nexgrill back in the day were good units. In some ways superior to the Weber Summit
This is an older unit, it has the original burners made of heavy brass, has a burner all along the back (for rosstiserie?) and a side burner. Depending on how much the stainless steel plates cost I may just keep the Jenn-Air.

Talk to Dave Santana. He'll make you the last set you'll ever have to buy

I can certainly see going that way, but I would rather have that big Summit and do what is needed to buy it more years of grilling.

Gotta say Weber made one helluva "classy" looking grill on that 1st gen. IMO the best looking grill line they ever made before or since. hey missed the mark on only 2 things. Longevity (due to the firebox issue) and versatility by not putting in some kind of rear crossways burner for spinning food better. It would have then been the perfect grill in every way

Excited! The seller accepted my offer for $200 dollars! I will pay half tomorrow, but won't be picking it up until next weekend because I will be out of town for a week.
I will post pictures once I get it and see what suggestions the experts here have for me.
I will be buying the plates from Jon for sure. Thanks for the help from everyone here so far!

If you do a good job restoring it as Jon has done with my old one you will be rewarded with a very classy grill

Oh, I don't think I have the talent to do anything like his restoration, but I will try my best to at least do the necessary to keep it from deteriorating and to keep it working for many years, but of course, I will try to make it pretty too!

Well with the 2 of us (me and Jon) having shared the same grill (it's like he married my ex wife :D ) We know the serious trouble points and tricks to watch for

You will do great. Just takes some time and patience more than anything. A place to paint and store parts as you get them done helps, too! I had to use my home office to place my parts as the paint cured! (My office is in a glassed in porch, thus the stone exterior wall of our house. It is heated and air-conditioned.)
