Pies were great! Kamado is awesome. Gotta work on a bit more color on the top of the crust. Kamado was fired up to 550 or so using maple lump charcoal and an extra chunk of maple for a bit of smoke. Pies were done in about 5 minutes each, browned, crispy and bubbly!
 
Something I've never done succesfully, tried it but struggled with the pizza dough. Your pies look awesome!
 
Did you make your own dough? is that on a stone? I finally gave up and bought dough balls from Publix and they were good.

Hey Curt,
Dough is homemade:
2.1/4tsp yeast
1C water
1tsp salt
2tsp sugar
2C flour
2tbsp olive oil

Let it rise for a couple of hours, punch it down and refrigerate until you are ready to use it. And yes, it is a stone - preheated for almost a half hour to a screaming 500+ degrees.
