Picked up a Silver B with a rusty lid

I keep hitting CL and the local buy sell trade FB groups and are not seeing any. I don't live in a big metro area. Madison, about 200,000 is about 50 miles away from me, otherwise, it is just towns of up to about 10,000 around me. My pickings are a bit more meager therefore. But, I will find one. My grill is still sitting untouched in the garage. I am just finishing up one for resale and then I will probably devote some of my time to my Genny 1000 Redhead. Hopefully, by the time I finish, I have a roto to go with it.

Oh, and I also plan on getting a Weber smoker box for the grill. I want to smoke some fish this summer as well.

I ended up fitting a stainless lid from this Genesis Gold B that I bought for parts that I also ended up restoring, I also added a right-side flip up table (purchased from a local Weber hoarder) and I managed to find a free 2005 Genesis Silver B today (the free grill's frame was rusted out in multiple spots but it yielded some good parts). The stainless trim piece from the free grill is a drop-in retrofit. I think it came out pretty nice:

07/20/17 edit: Slapped a green lid on it and called it a day. The stainless lid went back on the Gold B.

I think I'm just about finished with this grill. I did the following this weekend:

1) Cleaned and lubed the burner valves with brake caliper lube
2) Installed newer wheels from a 2005 Genesis Silver B that I parted out a while back
3) Used a razor blade and some 0000 steel wool to get that sheen inside the lid.

There was a curbside redhead Spirit that I picked up last month (which is getting refurbed for resale with a different lid). The redhead lid was too good to not keep, so this happened:

LOL, I am going to replace my Red head with a Blue head. I just need to clean up the blue head and do it.
