Phoenix Area Meat - Reasonable Butcher?

I generally grab brisket, pork shoulder, and tri tip from Costco, but I have a hard time finding a good grocery butcher or butcher shop for plate ribs, or even chuck ribs. Most of the butcher shops are asking silly prices.

Anybody have any recommendations?

Hey! I’m at the edge of Sun City and Peoria. We usually get our meat from Costco or Fry’s, but when we want better quality, we go to Al’s. He’s at the corner of Union Hills and 107th Avenue. He‘s kind of spendy, but when it’s a splurge here and there it’s not too bad.

Not sure what part of the Valley you are in but for East Valley I use Gilbert Butchery for the non Costco cuts. I also use The Pork Shop in San Tan Valley for my Pork cuts.
