3AM, suddenly woke up by my phone. I have do not disturb so only people on a list can get through. Thinking oh crap my dad passed or something. Seeing it's my youngest daughter. I had wisely (I might ad) chosen to share my Glucose Monitor readings with her at her (now wise) request. BTW on my unit "Critical" is under 40 and mine was so bad it could not read which happens under 30! Yikes!
Not sure why. Blood sugar absolutely tanked. So low the warning was "Critical too low to read" Could barely see my phone. Wife brought some juice. About 20 -30 min later finally went to 90 confirmed with blood and CGM. IDK what would have happened if she hadn't woke me.
Though now I have a real quandry. Supposed to go get full panel in an hour. They like me to fast. Well IDK what the 8oz of apple juice does to that. Of all nights to have this happen.

Be well, Larry! Amazing that we have that kind of technology now, and great that your daughter could alert you!

Yeah lord knows my wife would have slept right through it. :D Guess she figures "if he dies he dies" LOL She has the same app on her phone as well. Actually it's awfully good my youngest is the one who takes enough interest to help watch out for the "old man". I slept right through the alarm on the phone and even the vibrations and alarm notification on my wrist!

Been there, done that. Unlike you, I tend to wake up when my sugar crashes, I've self-recovered from upper 30's at least twice.

I've crashed down as low as 28, my g/f had to call EMS (that's a beer story.) I did not wake up that time when I crashed, and it's something I do not want to experience again.
