I am with Dan only I thought metal table started 2015 I maybe wrong on this but it is in the 2010-2014 area more towards the 14 side as the lid bale is allowing the lid to go almost 90 degrees.
If good price drag that puppy home do some cleaning then get it dirty again your way, I like tacos....
Also the pastic or fiber table has a 15 year warranty on it so if you register it at Weber they will replace it with a metal one if cracked while moving it around.
I have done that with them twice.
One of the quickest ways to tell at a glance which generation a Performer is is to look at the wheels.
Besides having a totally distinctive cart, an SSP has the classic insert-style wheel.
Gen 2 went to the scalloped insert, the same as on the closed-cabinet Genesis models from the early 2000s.
Gen 3 had that same style tire, but with a full face gray wheel cover. This is the same wheel that’s still used on Ranch Kettles.
And Gen 4 went to the rounded-shoulder tire, the same as what’s on 26” and Master Touch Kettles.
