Passed this BM up

I passed this one up for several reasons...even though it was free:
I just completed restoring the stainless cart version.
I couldn't tell if it was NG or LP.
The cart is rudimentary and kind of odd looking.

That one would have been a lot of work. I actually kind of like that heavy duty, old style cart. Probably the main downer about these very early Broilmasters is that the controls were down on the post below the firebox. So, to make any temperature adjustment along the way you have to reach underneath a scorching hot aluminum box .

Yah, It is actually a very simple grill. The hardest part of rehabbing would have been to restore the missing tables....but you could simply leave them off as well.

I'm pleased with this one. I have a spare burner and spare igniter. I believe I'm set for years to come.
