I have about 20-30 people coming over on saturday. I have to work until about 4pm and everyone will start arriving at about 2pm. I have a 9.5lbs port butt, 4lbs briskel, 8 brats, 16 1/3lbs black angas burgers and various party platters. I have 3 questions:

1. Do you think this is enough food for 20-30 people?

2. How long do you think the brisket and port butt will take, The little lady will have to watch the food and take it off. I'm trying to keep it easy for her.

3. Can she handel it? she doesn't bbq at all.

I will tkae a stab at it.

Yes, you have enough food.

The rule of thumb for pork butt is 1.5 hours per pound at about 225-250 I cook a little higher to speed things up. The brisket souds like a flat cook to 165 then foil until tender.

Burgers and brats can go on the grill and be ready within an hour.

Any way to pre cook and let her re-heat?

Cooking 4 different things for someone who dosen't Que is quite the challange,

I would precook the butt and brisket and re heat then cook the brats and burgers when I got home.

Tony No. Unless this is by design, and purely for entertainment value.
