Sorry, I'm not sure why I can't find these answers on the Weber site, and I'm not finding the right stuff on Amazon.

I need a charcoal grate for the 18.5 Bullet. The info here says its 15", but I don't see that size on Amazon.
And what size is the lower grate for the 18.5 Bullet and the 22" Bullet?

Also -- my charcoal ring on the 18.5 is cracked. I think it will work fine, but is there an inexpensive replacement option? They're about $45 on Amazon?

And while we're at it -- do you store your cooking grates inside so that they don't rust?

If your worried about your charcoal ring being cracked just go buy some expanded metal and bend it into a ring. Or just don't worry about it which is what I would do. If its really bad and won't hold your charcoal in just use some metal wire and wire it back together.

As far as the replacement charcoal grate you should be able to order that from Weber, i'm sure other guys here will know other locations as well to order one.

I store my grates inside the grill with a cover on the grill. Havn't had a problem with them rusting yet.

The charcoal grate is 15-1/2" and has commonality with the 18.5" kettle charcoal grate.
Typically Home Depot has the best local prices for the common grate sizes.
As soon as you try to source WSM-specific grates, the price goes up.

The upper cooking grate is 17-1/2" and the same as the 18.5" kettle.
The lower cooking grate is 17" and is simply a plated 22.5" kettle charcoal grate.

Why not have a local welder put a tack on your cracked ring ?
Or fab a new one from expanded metal.

West lakes ace hardware here sells every replacement grate you can think of if you can't find them you could have me mail you some

Home Depot is probably your best bet. OSH, Orchard Supply Hardware, is well stocked in Weber parts as well, but not sure if their a national chain. You can also just call the 800 number on their website and talk to them. You can sure save yourself some money though by going with Matt's quick fix above. The food will still taste as good.

That's what I do. All of my grates are rusted -- and of course the 2 year warranty on my 22" ran out in March.

I'm sure my Home Depot has the grates, I just didn't know what size I needed.

Thanks.

FYI -- I called Weber and they told me that the charcoal grate for the 18.5" WSM is 15", not 15.5".

I finally found this on Amazon -- Charcoal Grate for 18.5" WSM. This says it's 15.25"

These two are not the same. The charcoal grate out of an 18.5 kettle is smaller than an 18.5 WSM charcoal grate.
Here are the Weber part numbers for the three grates:
Charcoal - 63013 - 15.25"
Top cooking - 80634 - 17.5"
Bottom cooking - 80624 17"
Those part numbers are pretty old. I suppose they've changed.
