Meant to mention on my previous comment Rich that I have the same knife as yours (I think). I love it, so much that I got the chopping knife and also the small paring knife. All presents from my wife. Also one of their stones and holder for it.

Someone here raved about this knife, so I asked for it for a Christmas gift several years ago.....might have been you, Cliff! I do love it, and it has a much nicer feel to me than any of my "european" knives. My wife won't touch it.....it's too sharp for her!
