Paint manifold?

I am restoring my 2000 Genesis Silver B. I noticed my manifold was once painted, but the top of it has a fair amount of surface rust. Should I clean it up and paint it with high temp paint, or leave well enough alone? I'm leaning towards the latter but thought I'd ask what others have done. Thanks.

a little Rustoleum would make it look nice-----I didn't do mine but might if I take it apart again. One thing I did was shot just a small spray of WD40 where the knobs turn the valves.....they didn't work quite right before but they worked perfectly after that.

The manifold should not get hot. If that were the case, the control valves would get hot and the rubber dirt protector disks would melt. I like "Yenkin-Majestic" "Diamond Hard" black 8-21501 this stuff dries hard and looks great! I used it on my Genesis 1000 restore on the manifold and any other place that doesnt get hot. I also just used it on the inside cabinet of my "Weber Summit Silver". It came out beatiful!
