Well I got this reply from weber but I don't see any instructions included with the grill on how to reassemble the blades as they came pre assembled out of the box.
Will have a look at the bowl and ash ring today and see if I can adjust it at all.

This is a query we often get with the one-touch cleaning system and it's usually due to the following reason. The cleaning fan blades need to be assembled in the correct order. If you take them apart you'll notice on the underside they're numbered according to the order they need to be placed during assembly.
