OT chocolate crinkles


 
Yes. I make the dough ahead of time and freeze it.

Edit: The dough has been frozen for months.

We like them hot and fresh so I only bake an evenings worth.

A night's worth, well around here that would be a ... well a lot.
Love it. Think calories from fat may be a bit higher than listed.

And how is it I have several packages, of several different obscure items, but someone ate the last of the baking chocolate. To the store.
 
But it only made 70. Not 72. Hmm. Gf likes them a lot. Ugghhh.
Well at least the 2nd batch made 70. The first batch made two.

Uh oh. This morning GF tells me they taste even better. So I now have used more baking chocolate in a few days than in decades.

And yes refrigerating them makes rolling the sugar on, and everything else, easier.

Glad you are enjoying them. This is a reason I only cook a few at a time.

The ones in the first post are probably twice the size as the recipe, but a big crunchy gooey cookie is a winner.
