Recently passed through Ashland and visited Sammich. Featured on Episode 80 of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Not a barbecue joint, but they do smoke their own pastrami onsite using a stickburner and a pile of split oak in the parking lot. Crazy good sandwich called Pastrami Zombie! Other sandwiches are Chicago themed, like Italian beef, da burg, "Chicago cheesesteak", and more!
I neglected to get a photo of my pastrami sandwich, but I got one of Mrs. TVWB's Italian beef...the beef is somewhere under all that giardiniera!
