OK, Things you LOVE about BBQ

The way my fleece jacket smells for days after a nice, smoky cook.
The ability to blame anything that happens during a cook (dirt, shirked responsibilities, lack of social interaction with playdate visitors etc...) on "The BBQ".
Beers in my backyard.
Having a nap in an outdoor recliner during an overnighter.

The food is almost (almost) secondary.

I hear ya James. Even my 12 year old daughter loves the smell on my clothes. She said they should make a spray-on smoke smell for men!

I love that it bothers my vegetarian neighbours when I smoke a few racks.
I love having an excuse to be outisde and not inside.
I love the magical moment of opening the lid and seeing the dark bark forming.
I love starring at her while marvelling at her beauty.
I love seeing my 2 year-old son gnaw on a rib bone and humming with glee.
I love the taste, smell and everything about Qing.
