I picked up a 5lb corned beef from my butcher. Thanks Greg..

unpackaged

Put it on the webber with my smokenator
using cherry wood for the smoke

After a hour of cooking

about 4 hours in

Total cook time was about 8 hours at about 230
pulled meat at 190

let it cool then foiled it and put it in the fridge overnight
First cut

Steamed and on some bread, havarti cheese and some mustard
waiting for my side dish

turned out really good. Since it was such a large one I decided to slice and throw in the freezer for future sandwiches
next project will be for me to make my own corned beef

Really nice looking corned beef, should make for some outstanding sandwiches!! Is that corned beef already cooked and how was it salt wise, not too salty?

Mike, there is no way that I could have put that in the fridge overnight without slicing enough for a couple of warm corned beef sandwiches.
It looks delicious.

thanks guys my butcher is in Winchester on.. I live just south in Morrisburg, It was not pre cooked, and was very close to Montreal smoked meat as i steamed it before I put it on the bread..
