Should have a bunch more this week with seafood and squash ect….

Thanks Tim.........nothing crazy but all the summer fun added a few pounds I think.....have a handful to take off so just stepping up the game a bit.
Still going to be lots of bbq, just trying to keep some of the worse stuff away for the cold months.
Tonight is Thai style food, tomorrow is spaghetti squash with a butter sauce and prawns.

The weekend will be fun too, with carnitas pulled pork taco's with pineapple and cilantro, as well as skirt steak tacos with fried veg.....homemade guac and salsa's........have to cook for guests and this one always makes people very happy.

Made another dish of squash, prawns…shrimp….whatever….
Fried onions in butter and pepper, garlic and shrimp.
Deglazed with stock and a bit more butter to sauce consistency…added spinach and re warm the shrimp.
Flavour profile is through the roof…..made enough for lunch apparently.
I watch too much cooking shows…..but the lemon made the dish, without it there would be something missing for sure.
Edit: just found my capers in the fridge, that might be a good thing for next round???? That squash is bland and salty helps out.

It's really not that hard to make, just have to keep moving as everything besides the squash cooks fast.
It's something you wouldn't expect to be great but it's surprising to say the least.......
I haven't been taking many pics to update this thread.......breakfast for dinner last night with sweet potatoes was a nice treat.
