My wife and kids surprised me with a new cooking machine for Fathers Day. Going to break it in this weekend with a couple pork butts. I really don’t want to get it dirty, but it’s going to happen. I’ve grilled and smoked for years with a Weber kettle and an offset smoker. This is going to have a learning curve but I’ve browsed the wealth of information here for a few days and believe all of you here are willing to help with any problems. Happy to be a part of this group!
 
Hi Travis - welcome to the forum - I'm in the St. Louis area, so it's always fun to welcome another member from MO. I also have a 22" WSM, and enjoy cooking on it quite a bit. Don't be afraid to ask questions on the forum, you'll get a lot of great pointers here.
