Tonight I bought a couple steaks for dinner. And a third steak I haven't come across before. All three are New York. The difference in the third one is it's called a King. I can see why. I don't often splurge like this. Here's hopping they are goooood.

I put some seasoning on a couple and marinated the new to me King. Plan on doing a reverse sear. I'm not good at the follow-up pictures so here's what I have so far,,.

You can sure tell the difference in the new to me King one.

Here's another pic. And yes it is (a little) staged. I've been doing a lot of yard work recently and don't want the rest of the stuff to be in the picture:eek:IMG_20200215_173508175.jpg

Looking good to this point, never heard of a New York king before, but I can see way it's called that.

WOW!! That's a new one on me. Like Rich said. never heard of New York king but ii's sure looking great.

Time to sear. And a couple other pics the closest I got to plated pictures was when I brought the smaller ones in. family was already cutting into them and eating before I got the big one inside.IMG_20200215_183622155.jpgIMG_20200215_184456139.jpgIMG_20200215_180924551.jpg
